Our Story
Hi, my name is Spencer Haik, and I’m the co-founder and CEO of Vault Funeral Technology.
I grew up in the funeral industry. My father is a casket distributor in Missouri, and from a young age I spent time helping with deliveries, unloading caskets, organizing inventory, and visiting funeral homes across small towns and cities throughout the state. Through those experiences, I saw firsthand the trust funeral homes carry and how deeply families rely on them during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. That perspective ultimately shaped why we built Vault.
Funeral service is not transactional; it is deeply personal. When families walk through your doors, every detail matters. Yet behind the scenes, funeral homes are often forced to navigate outdated systems, fragmented vendors, and unnecessary complexity. All of that takes time and energy away from what matters most: caring for families.
